The purpose of the Power of Trans blog is two fold, First it is meant as a place for those from the transgender community to stay connected and get answers to transition related questions. This blog will serve as a safe space for those who are in need of support around there identities and secondly this blog will sever as a teacher and educator to those wanting to open their minds to learning new things.

Transgender is not an easy thing to understand as we all know but the first steps to fighting stigma is education, and debate. Debate that is healthy and debates where both parties can come to a mutual understanding. As a women of transgender experience I created this blog as a means of doing just that with the mission to educate and empower both the transgender and non-transgender persons alike.

It is my hope that you will use this blog in a way that best fits your needs rather that be for support around issues related to transition are if you use it as an educational tool.
